The aim of the research is to identify the reality of organizational commitment and its relationship to achieving human development from the point of view of workers in the Joint Services Council in Karak.
The study tool (the questionnaire) for collecting data from the members of the research sample, and the results of the research showed that the general average of the measure of organizational commitment of workers in the Joint Services Council in Karak as a whole was high, where the field of “emotional commitment” ranked first and the field of “normative commitment” came in second place.
For "continued commitment" to the third and final rank.
And that the general average of the scale of human resources as a whole was average, where the field of "incentives and promotions" ranked first, and the field of "training" ranked last.
The results also showed that there is a positive statistically significant relationship between the total score of the career commitment scale and its domains with the human development scale and all its domains.
Based on the results of the research, the researcher recommended the following: The need to take advantage of the high level of organizational commitment of the employees of the Joint Services Council in employing this level of organizational commitment in order to achieve a better level of performance and achievement to reach the desired human resource development.
And that the joint services councils seek to make the qualification training courses for their employees more relevant to their qualifications and tendencies, and to be more responsive to their needs.
