Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to discuss the unknown philosophical and scientific works of al-Kindi.

therefore, we limited our work to two points, first: a search for philosophical books that his translation sources did not directly mention, which are explanations, abbreviations, comments, or translations of the works of other philosophers.

second : discussing his scientific works that were not included in the lists of sources for his translation, perhaps the most prominent of which is al-Nadim’s Fihrist.

the two researchers followed the historical-analytical method in preparing the study, and their study ended with a set of results, the most important of which are: the need to know the cognitive intersections between al-Kindi’s philosophical and scientific texts.

we do not find a complete bibliography of al-Kindi's books on philosophy and science, and some books were not written by al-Kindi but rather developed by his students.
