has become one of the most important axes of National Security in the area, especially as it affects the existence and Benghazi's population lives, an area characterized by semi-arid climatic conditions, and affects the process of economic development and stability.

The recent significant increase in population has had a direct impact on the insufficient available water resources, which has created a large gap between the population needs and the available freshwater resources on which Benghazi depends in all aspects of its agricultural, industrial, and domestic consumption.

This makes it at the forefront of concern of future development plans and will need political leadership's strategic decisions.

In this regard, the study concluded the most important results, measures, and recommendations for developing water resources.
