The research dealt with monitoring and analysis measuring the impact of electronic media legislation on the professional performance of the communicator in Jordanian news websites, and the researcher in this research adopted the media survey approach, both descriptive and analytical, and the researcher relied on the sample survey method, which included (300) media professionals working in the sites The Jordanian news site, and its 120 licensed websites.

The results of the study revealed that (74.4% )% of the study sample believe that the most important features that must be met by the contact person, familiarity with modern technology, followed by the “professionalism” feature, which reached 63% of the sample.

And (78% ) of the study sample are familiar with Article (42) of the Press and Publications Law.

This article states that “The owners of printing houses, libraries, publishing and distribution houses, studies and research houses, and public opinion measurement houses are jointly responsible for the personal rights and court expenses that are judged against their employees in Publications cases to which the provisions of the law apply, and (57.7% ) feel that Article (11) of the Cybercrime Law is muzzled and provides heavy penalties for journalists, and (67.3% ) there are restrictions that I hope will be removed to display the journalist's contents without the intervention of the media portal keeper.

And (63.7% ) of the sample feel legal restrictions when processing press contents, and (54.7% ) feel a limited space of freedom when editing press contents after the passage of the Press and Publication Law No.
