The subject of this study is the presupposition in shawky's plays.

the Presupposition is considered one of pragmatic researches.

Its concept is concentrated in that the speaker directs his talk to the addressee on the basis that the addressee knows that, or we can't mention everything we want to express.

This is from implicit or the hidden information which can be expressed through words, phrases and structures.

We can also reach it through some lingual tests.

It requires a communicative background between the parties to the discourse.

The addressee is supposed to interpretation depending on the potentials he has.

This isn't informing and doesn't present anything new because it's included in the saying structure.

The study discussed the term and concept, then presented the five types of presupposition.
