Abstract EN

This study is summarized in clarifying the positions of the classes of Egyptian society, and some foreign groups, such as: Jews, Armenians, Levant, and European elements from the First World War (1332 AH / 1914 AD).

It is noticeable that these positions differ according to their own interests.

Some of the pro-British positions in this war were directed at the influential classes in society, such as the ruling class, the big owners, and foreign elements, while we find there are middle-class intellectuals and opinion-holders whose patriotism leads them to refuse to stand by the occupier, and not Throwing Egypt and its people into a war that has nothing to do with it.

As for the defeated class in the peasant class, which constitutes most of the class component of the Egyptian people, its neutral, peaceful and helpless position was based on the orbit of the influential classes in the country.
