This research titled "The Right of Woman to Choose her Husband in Fiqh al-Wasatiyyah (Moderation)" from the Book of Marriage in Sahih Al Bukhari.

The researcher presented an additional new meaning for the concept of moderation (al -Wasatiyyah) in the Islamic jurisprudence.

It emphasise the fact that Al-Imam Al-Bukhari is a pioneer in Fiqh Al Wasatiyya through his valuable personal and scientific path and through his masterpiece of collection of authentic Hadith Al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaḥīḥ where The book of Marriage is part of.

The research aims at clarifying the opinion of Moderation in Islam (Fiqh Al Wasatiyyah) in the right of the woman to choose her husband according to Al-Bukhari; the research used the descriptive, inductive and analytical approach".
