Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the impact of the use of instructional design on the effectiveness of teaching and the increase in academic achievement at the secondary stage, by applying it to the physical education subject for second year secondary students.

The descriptive analytical approach and the experimental method were used as the most appropriate for the study, such as the study population of physical education teachers in Karary locality, which numbered 61 teachers.

A random sample of 32 teachers was selected.

The study consisted of students, like them are second-grade students in the locality.

An experimental and a control sample of 25 students was selected, and the study tool for the sample students was achievement tests.

The data collected from the two study samples was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS analysis program, and the most important results were that the instructional design has an active role in the teaching of the subject teachers, and there are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 after the post-exam in favor of the experimental sample.
