Abstract EN

The research aims to study the possibility of establishing windows for Islamic transactions in conventional banks that is, studying the possibility of providing Islamic services through an ordinary conventional bank, and the feasibility of that.

The researchers followed the descriptive approach in collecting the research material from concepts, evidence, opinions and laws, and showing how to establish Islamic windows in traditional banks.

The researchers concluded that Islamic windows are a good and acceptable solution for traditional banks to practice Islamic banking activities, in preparation for their transformation into a full Islamic bank later on.

The researchers recommend the need to increase awareness and banking education among individuals to introduce Islamic banking in Turkey, and to better consolidate the idea of Islamic banking and give it attention by the Ministry of Education
