Abstract EN

Foreign direct investment (FDI) plays an important role in the world economy and has the potential to contribute towards accelerating the process of economic growth and export diversification in the developing countries ; this paper examines the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) in economic growth in Algeria using annual dataset from the period 1980-2020, by using the ARDL approaches, the cointegration outcomes indicate a long-run relationship between study variables, the estimated coefficient show that open has negatively related to economic growth conversely the results indicate that FDI has a positive effect on economic growth, and the results confirm the presence of a positive effect of oil revenue and on government expenditure economic growth.
