Abstract EN

This article deals with the difference between the meaning of culture and identity according to both Frantz Fanon and Homi Bhabha.

It tries to show that Fanon’s reliance on violence makes Bhabha’s results very far from Fanon’s ones, even if Bhabha starts precisely from Fanon’s thinking in order to formulate a new theory about culture and identity.

That’s why, this study tries to know if Homi Bhabha misrepresented the theory, or did he respected all its ideas, trying to develop it in the context of post-colonialism.
