Abstract EN

This paper examines how have mythical characters been represented in Samir Kacimi’s Salalim Trolar and identifies the reasons for which these characters are recalled to incarnate the conflict on the Algerian ground.

These characters are recalled to play the roles of real figures in the actual political realities especially recently before and after the Public Hirak.This study seeks to identify the aesthetic and artistic dimensions brought by the recalling of these mythical characters in the novel, as well as to check the degree of consistency between the de facto reality and fictional work.
