The executive authority has granted broad powers in extraordinary cases through the constitutional amendment 2020 through its president represented in the person of the president of the republic, which the constitution gives him the right to override his powers and exercise the powers of other constitutional institutions such as parliament and the government in order to meet the circumstances that led to the announcement of one of the cases mentioned in the constitution the severity of which varies from states of emergency and siege to the exceptional state to the state of war, which is considered the most dangerous situation where the work of the constitution stops and all political institutions stop performing their functions and awaits the decision of the president of the republic.
