Grotsk is a technical practice implemented by the artist and writer for an intellectual and aesthetic purpose at the same time, which is to deliver her speech to the recipient through a shocking technique with its strangeness and miraculous ness.

ironically and close to the concept of ugliness, it is a technical style associated with many schools of art and literature, such as French and German romance, and because it is a subject of mixing with literature and formation , meaning that with this rejection and plastic displacement by proposing pictorial representations with discordant formal structures in gender and gender, but it does not depart from the aesthetic proposal according to the fact that beauty does not require its presence in realistic forms, and the research included four chapters, the research included the research problem according to the following question: how does grotesque appear in contemporary painting? the importance of the research, its need, goal, limits and definition of terminology, and the second chapter included the following sections: the first topic: the concept of grotesque and its extensions, and the second topic: manifestations of grotesque in European painting, while the third chapter included identifying the research community and its sample of (5) artworks by international artists, to obtain including the fourth chapter with a number of results, namely : 1- the artworks with a grotesque tinge demonstrated the distortion and displacement of realistic images by exaggerating the drawing of bodies, positively and negatively (dwarfing, gigantic, and amplifying) to transmit a satirical message within the black comedy as in the entire models 2- the concept of the grotesque was linked to the mythical framework and the employment of superstitious forms of more than one form and with different material races, as in all models.
