Abstract EN

Arab poetry witnessed in the modern era; A revolution against everything that is old, where the first thing that touched the change touched what was believed to be the model - the vertical poem - or the example that should not be derailed, and the change came as a result of modernity and what it brought with it; From new monetary concepts and standards, which prompted the poet to reconsider the construction of his poem, embodying that influence on the modernist trend in his poems, which led to the birth of a new poetic movement, represented by the movement of free poetry or activation poetry.

A group of Algerian poets adopted this renewal movement, Proverbs: Gilali Korath, who was embodied in his poems; The trait of innovation in its methods, expressive, and artistic mechanisms - language, perception and rhythm - influenced by concepts of modernity.

Accordingly, we are trying, through this research paper, to examine the influence of the Algerian poet on modernity, highlighting the features of innovation in the Algerian modernist poem; Through our reading of some poetic texts of the poet Jilali Korath taken from his book, "The Body of the Dancing Body
