In this study, we used a statistical tool, namely factorial analysis, to try to detect the factors that are at the origin of the phenomenon of cheating among students.

it concluded that there are two factorial axes that have the same relative importance in explaining the phenomenon of cheating among students.

the first axis includes two variables related to the subject, and the second axis consists of two variables related to the circumstances of the examination.

while social variables had less impact on the explanation of student cheating.
