تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على القطاع المصرفي الليبي من خلال تتبع تطوره التاريخي و إبراز الأحداث التي أثرت بشكل واضح على هذا التطور.
تعتمد هذه الدراسة على مصادر ثانوية تم التطرق إليها، كالدراسات السابقة التي تناقش مسائل متعلقة بالنشاط البنكي الليبي من خلال الاعتماد على المنهج التاريخي في جمع المعلومات التي تصف هذا القطاع في السياق التاريخي و السياسي و الاقتصادي.
و أشارت الدراسة إلى أن القطاع المصرفي الليبي تأثر سلبا إلى حد كبير بعاملين هما : تطبيق الفلسفة السياسية و الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية للنظام السابق، و ضغط المجتمع الدولي بسبب العقوبات السياسية و الاقتصادية.
مما حفز على إعادة تقييم العديد من السياسات النقدية و المالية، لذلك، فإن فهم سياسات و مواقف البنوك الليبية تجاه القضايا يتطلب معرفة دقيقة بتاريخ البنوك و كذلك السياق الذي تعمل فيه.
يعد فهم البيئات السياسية و الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية التي تعمل فيها البنوك أمرا ضروريا لفهم سلوكها و التنبؤ به.
Abstract EN
This study aims to identify the Libyan banking sector by tracing its historical development and highlighting the events that clearly affected this development.
the study relies on secondary sources represented in previous relevant studies that discuss issues related to the Libyan banking sector, through the historical method in collecting information describing this sector in the historical, political and economic context.
the study indicated that the Libyan banking sector was negatively affected largely by two factors, namely : the application of the political, economic and social philosophy of the previous regime, the pressure of the international community because of the political and economic sanctions that motivated the re-evaluation of many policies in the monetary and financial field.
as a result, understanding Libyan bank policies and attitudes toward issues necessitates a thorough grasp of the banks' history as well as the context in which they have operated.
understanding the political, economic, and social environments in which banks operate is critical to understanding and forecasting their behavior.

Cette étude vise à identifier le secteur bancaire libyen en retraçant son développement historique et en mettant en évidence les événements qui ont clairement affecté ce développement.
l'étude s'appuie sur des sources secondaires représentées dans des études pertinentes précédentes qui traitent des questions liées au secteur bancaire libyen, à travers la méthode historique de collecte d'informations décrivant ce secteur dans le contexte historique, politique et économique.
l'étude a indiqué que le secteur bancaire libyen a été affecté négativement dans une large mesure par deux facteurs, à savoir : l'application de la philosophie politique, économique et sociale du régime précédent, la pression de la communauté internationale en raison des sanctions politiques et économiques qui motivé la réévaluation de nombreuses politiques dans le domaine monétaire et financier.
par conséquent, comprendre les politiques et les attitudes des banques libyennes à l'égard des problèmes nécessite une connaissance approfondie de l'histoire des banques ainsi que du contexte dans lequel elles ont opéré.
comprendre les environnements politique, économique et social dans lesquels les banques opèrent est essentiel pour comprendre et prévoir leur comportement.
