This study aimed to identify the most important obstacles to distance education in light of the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) from the point of view of teachers and parents of students in Giza District schools.
The study sample consisted of (141) male and female teachers and (143) guardians of the students of Giza District schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
The results of the study concluded that the degree of distance learning obstacles in light of the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) from the point of view of the teachers of the district schools Giza came high, and the results indicated that the degree of distance learning obstacles in light of the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) from the parents’ point of view of the Giza District came high, and they also indicated that there are apparent differences between the arithmetic averages of the degree of obstacles facing distance education, according to different points of view.
Each of the teachers and parents in the Giza district according to the different views of each of the teachers and parents in the Giza district.
The researchers recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which was the development of training programs and joint workshops for both parents and teachers, in order to develop their technological skills and develop their knowledge about the nature of distance learning and the mechanism of applying distance learning and overcoming the obstacles in the educational process that the study reached.
