This study aims to identify the most prominent modern media trends and the impact of media integration on news organizations, and the challenges this merger poses to media organizations and journalists.

The study also attempts to find out whether these developments in the field of media technology have an impact on the definition of journalism and journalistic practice in general, while limiting the threats that these developments can pose to media institutions and journalists, as well as the opportunities they provide for them.
