Abstract EN

We aim through this study to know the most important news sources that the journalist working in the digital press in Algeria resort to to obtain information, especially what is related to electronic sources, and then to know the impact of this dependence on his professional practice,To achieve these goals, we relied on the descriptive survey approach of the study community, which consists of journalists working in the Algerian digital press, in both its purely electronic and parallel parts, where we designed a questionnaire form and adopted it as a main tool for the study, and its validity and reliability were verified by statistical methods and distributed to 112 individuals from digital journalists at the level of Algeria.

The capital was chosen in an intentional way, and the data were processed and analyzed in a statistical manner by means of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).Through this study, we reached a set of results, the most prominent of which is that the Algerian journalist still owes allegiance to traditional news sources such as news agencies, pamphlets and official documents, but this does not prevent him from relying on electronic sources, especially those related to the official pages documented by their owners with the blue tick on networks Social media, especially Facebook and Twitter.
