Abstract EN

The study aims to model the causal relationship between the study variables which include electronic violence, psychological loneliness, internet addietionand mental health .

the author ilueidatcs causal relationship by examining the direct and indirect effects and knowing if the variables of electronic idfenec, and psychological loneliness are intermediate variables whether partial or total between internet addiction and mental health among al-Quds open university students.

the study uses the correlational descriptive approach by applying the four scales : young internet addiction scale, the shinawi cyber violence scale, the Russell psychological unit scale, and the mental health scale for the honorable, on a sample of 416 male and female students from al-Quds open university in the southern govemorates.

the results show that there is an indirect effect of internet addiction on mental health through the psychological loneliness, which means that the psychological loneliness is a partial mediating variable, while there was no effect of internet addiction on mental health through electronic violence, which tneam that electronic violence is a non-mediating variable.
