Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to discover the active substances in the eggplant cones, and introduce the extract of some of them in the manufacture of creams.

Saponins, alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, comarins, anthraquinone, chlorogenic acid, were discovered in the extract.

Phenols were calibrated and the residual yield was calculated in this extract.

Four types of creams were prepared, and all necessary tests were studied, such as: viscosity, homogeneity and phenolic content, pH, bacterial testing, accelerated stability.

Third formula was the best compared to the other formulas.

Release of the active substances was studied in vitro by using the Franz Cell and the released result of the third formula was from Zero Order.
