English Abstract

We are about to move from an industry-based economy to a technical economy with its various technological tools, in which blockchain technology is the latest component.

This technology is the cornerstone of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ripple, but it has been found that blockchain has other uses, and from it this research aims to highlight on what this technology is and the promising applications it offers in vario us sectors, especially economic ones.

The research found that blockchain is a digital technology created to solve the problem of lack of confidence when conducting transactions between two parties without the need for a third party intermediary between them, and from it it is a very effective technique for exchanging values via the Internet.

There are many actual real projects that use blockchain technology with tangible results other than cryptocurrencies, such as financial services, property registries, government services and others.

It also witnesses a great trend for various economic sectors to it because it enables business to be performed effectively, transparently and at lower cost.
