Abstract EN

This research is a new reading of the verses excluded from the Meccan Surahs which is claimed that their revelation was the medina period and then was appended to the Meccan Surahs.

some contemporary researchers thought that and they have taken care of studying the chains of revelation reasons and after research and study ended up excluding several few verses.

this research is a new reading of those excluded verses through the reception theory through two axes.

the first axis is a reading of the historical documents that said this exception.

the second axis is the study of verses through the most important principles of the reception theory which is the context with all kinds, intertextuality, and the historicity of the text.

the research ended with the negation of any exception in a Meccan verse from the context from its revelation and what was said about it is a case that is not based on evidence.

therefore, this theory assists the reader to fill the gaps in the text, return the excluded verses to their correct context, and correct what we found among researchers in Mecca and Medina and commentators as their reading created spaces in the Qur’anic text.
