Abstract EN

The importance of the issue of the construction of the mass in the pottery of ancient Iraq due to the aesthetic aspects it formed in the construction of the artwork, as it occupied an important place in the plastic discourse map in its general form and the pottery in its special form.

The construction of pottery is one of the aesthetic concepts.

We find that the artwork does not require friction with the form, and that the form can carry an important message in its structural dimensions The current research includes four chapters.

The first chapter contains the research problem, its importance, the nature of its objectives, its limits, and the definition of its terminology.

The aim of the present study, which was summarized, is to identify the constructivism of mass in the pottery of ancient Iraq As for the second chapter, it is the theoretical framework for the research and it was divided into two topics.

The first topic dealt with two axes.

The first axis was the concept of constructivism in art.

The second axis is the mass and its relationship to the elements and foundations.

The second topic deals with the structura l characteristics of ancient Iraq pottery.

Down to the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework and then previous studies The third chapter included the research procedures , including the research community of (25) artistic works.

The research sample organized into the role of “slaves” was selected (3) as a model, in addition to the research tool and sample analysis according to the descriptive analytical approach The fourth chapter included the results of the research , its discussion, conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
