The paper aims to identify the political geography of the Red Sea and the impact of regional and international competition in the Red Sea on the countries of the Red Sea Basin, and then study the most appropriate method to confront the impact of regional and international competition in the Red Sea.
The paper used the historical method, the descriptive analytical method, and the case study method.
The most important findings of the paper: The Red Sea represents an eternal swtrategic position.
The importance of the Red Sea increases on the security and military level because it is the only sea outlet for Sudan, Jordan, Djibouti and Eritrea.
The Red Sea is of great importance to Arab security.
