The present study addresses an innovative state observer-based tracking control strategy for large-scale nonlinear systems applied to interconnected machine power systems.
The designed decentralized controller with a state observer is formulated in terms of Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) whose resolution enables computing jointly the state observer and the control gains and ensuring the asymptotic stability and the performance rate of robustness.
The designed LMIs are formulated into a one-stage procedure to cope with conservative results generated by multi-stage procedures usually utilized to investigate complex nonlinear systems.
The effectiveness and prominent results of the designed control method are shown by numerical simulation on a multimachine power plant constituted by the interconnection of three generators intended for electric energy production.
