Abstract EN

Child labor is one of the phenomena that have become a source of anxiety for societies, especially among the poor.

child labor at an early age hinders his development and prevents his learning, as the child is forced to work in conditions that are inappropriate for his age, which would deprive him of special care.

thus, to ensure protection of children from economic exploitation which exposes their growth, health, education and morals to risk, legislations were keen to provide the necessary protection for children.

it put strict restrictions on their employment and penalized the breaching of these restrictions.

among these is the Emirati legislation which included special restrictions on child labor in the child rights law(Wadima).

some of these restrictions relate to the age of the child and some relate to the number of working hours and timing, in addition to prohibiting child labor in some fields.

this research, therefore, is designed to shed light on childhood crimes in the field of work.
