News interviews in news bulletins are among the most common forms of news presentation that have not been adequately studied and researched yet.

In this study, we have tried to research the special features of news interviews, their types, their different forms of presentation, the geographical areas they cover, and the categories of their guests.

The study has taken the nine o'clock news bulletin on Al Jazeera as a representative model for studying news interviews on Arabic TV newscasts.

The study has covered the period between March 01, 2020 and March 31, 2020, involving (244) news interviews.

This exploratory study has relied on a content analysis form to collect quantitative and quantitative-qualitative data, analyze it, and then present it with illustrative tables and graphs.

The study has came out with a set of results, such as the following.

The number of individual interviews with guests exceeds the number of bilateral and group interviews by 76%.

News interviews with the station's correspondents constitute the largest proportion compared to those with Arab and foreign interviewees.

Male guests constitute the largest proportion in interviews.

The vast majority of correspondents' interviews are conducted from the capitals of the countries in which they are present.

The study has recommended that politicians should be hosted more in news interviews as they are a primary source of information and points of view, that interviews with correspondents should be reduced except in emergency cases; live coverage; and important events, that the percentage of women in interviews should be increased, in addition to other recommendations.
