Abstract EN

The verbal intellectual history of the Ashari doctrine contains between its stages and historical phases various forms of intellectual developments and methodological transformations, which initially indicate the fertility of this doctrine and its liberation-and even its rejection-of tradition and the rigidity that has clouded many other doctrines.

perhaps the most telling example of this is Imam Ghazali, before which he was the imam of the two holy mosques.

after that, he was Shahristani and then al-Razi.

in the midst of these developments and transformations, the authors in this area may miss the intellectual development of Sheikh al-Ashari himself, by which I do not mean the famous shift from the doctrine of retirement to that of the Sunnis, but I mean by it: this development, or rather this reluctance to express the opinion that sheikh al-Ashari seemed to be in the midst of his new Sunni phase.

this is what happened to me, the site of the motive for singled out this subject with special research dealing with some care and detail.

the research was presented in: an introduction, three detectives, and a conclusion.

research approach: used in this research: 1- inductive approach: in collecting and tracking the opinions of Sheikh al-Ashari from its different regions.

2- analytical descriptive approach: on the side of presentation and analysis of the opinions of Sheikh al-Ashari.

3- critical approach: the approach that I have relied on the budget and commentary side.

top results: 1- Sheikh al-Ashari's opinion is hesitant in defining others.

what his opinion firmly settled on is the second definition.

Sheikh al-Ashari's view is that the meaning of perception is either science or not, which I believe is that perception, such as science, is based on the doctrine of Ashari.
