Abstract EN

The study focused on the documentation of the marriage contract in Islamic jurisprudence and Emirati law.

The study was divided into four sections.

The first section explained the concept of documenting the marriage contract in Islamic jurisprudence.

The second section dealt with the legality and importance of documenting the marriage contract, while the third one covered Sharia ruling on the marriage contract, its writing and documentation in Islamic jurisprudence.

Finally, the fourth section tackled the ruling on the procedure of the marriage contract, its writing and documentation in the UAE law.

The importance of this study lies in its discussion of the role played by the marriage official in writing down the legal provisions for the preservation of rights, decency, and the protection of the rights of the spouses in the conflict.

One of the findings of the study is showing the great importance of the marriage contract and its documentation by the marriage official to preserve the rights and obligations when challenged with the emergence of this issue.
