Abstract EN

This study aims at shedding light on the serious intimidation expressed in the verses containing ''if He will, He can take you away …''.

These are four verses in four Surahs of the Holy Qur’an: [An-Nisâ', Al Anaam, Ibrahim and Fatir] with a view to calling attention to what we should learn from the context of the said four verses and their relationship to the themes of the Surahs where they occurred to avoid committing what is subject to the concerned intimidation.

The study discusses four major themes in each of which the researcher studies the said verse in light of the Surah where the verse occurs.

The study concluded that the use of the term ''if'' refers to Allah's mercy implied in the intimidation.

The introduction, conclusion, pillars and topics of these chapters go hand in hand with the different complements of the verses throughout the four Surahs، and there are differences between the verses.

For example, two verses begin with the addressing phrase ''O mankind…''; while mentioning the phrase ''Nor is that for Allah any great matter',' occurs in one verse.
