Abstract EN

This study aims to elucidate some landamarks of foundamentalist criticism by Al-Abyari in his work titled (al-Tahqiq wal_Bayan fi Sharh al- Burhan).

The commentarial criticism of Al-Abyari can be seen in different manifestations: 1- Comments on foundamentalist contraints 2- Comments on foundamentalist perspectives, opinions and illustrations.

3- Comments regulating foundamentalist criticism.

The study concludes that the critical points addressed by Al-Abyari might fluctuate between strong and weak considerations to the extent that some issues are clearly disputable.

Besides, deciding on them is possible only during the course of reasoning known as (Tahqiq al-Manat), which is the implementation of the effective causes in judging particularities.

The study adopts the inductive and analytical method and has recourse to interpretation, investigation and reconstruction of the discussed matters where necessary.
