Abstract EN

The paper aimed to identify how to employ social media from programs and activities for the benefit of scientific research.

The faculty members at University of Bahri were taken as a sample for the study.

The study used the descriptive analytical method, depending on the questionnaire as a tool for the study.

Through the study's methodology and tools, the paper reached a number of results, the most important of which are: faculty members at University of Bahri used social media in transmitting images for learning and identifying the library’s activities, in addition to their use in planning, providing scientific advice and scientific references.

The study recommended a number of recommendations, the most notable are the development of the university's infrastructure, especially with regard to the internet, as well as the establishment of training courses for faculty members to make the most of social networking sites in the educational process.
