The research aimed to : identify the theoretical and intellectual foundations of internal efficiency in educational institutions, and identify the role of community participation in raising internal efficiency in basic education schools in Minya governorate.

and knowing the current reality of the role of community participation in achieving internal efficiency in basic education schools in the field.

in its procedures, the research relied on the descriptive approach, which expresses a set of procedures that are integrated to describe the phenomenon or topic depending on the collection, classification, processing and analysis of facts and data and an adequate and accurate analysis to extract its significance in order to reach results and generalizations about the phenomenon or topic under study, and the researcher designed a questionnaire to measure the opinions of the research sample, and a random sample of (185) individuals was selected out of a total of (300) individuals representing the department of basic education in Minya governorate.

the research reached some results, the most important of which are : the role of community participation in achieving the internal efficiency of basic education schools is achieved to a moderate degree.
