Abstract EN

The current research aimed to verify the psychometric characteristics of the compulsive hoarding scale among university students by verifying the internal consistency, reliability and validity coefficients of the compulsive hoarding scale among university students.

the research sample consisted of (350) male and female students, enrolled in the faculty of education in general and the faculty of specific education at Fayoum university (50 males and 300 females).

the research sample included the four study groups of the academic year 2021 / 2022 and their ages ranged between (18-21) moreover, the sample was chosen randomly.

the researcher conducted statistical treatments for the results of applying the compulsive hoarding scale on the research sample.

the results of the research revealed that the compulsive hoarding scale had high reliability and validity coefficients, and then the psychometric characteristics of the scale were assured, so that it confirms its efficiency in measuring the compulsive hoarding behavior of university students and confidence in the results that consequent on its use.
