Abstract EN

The study aimed to set a comprehensive picture of the various theoretical, functional and statistical aspects of education returns.

The study focuses on the concept of education returns, the importance of studying it, the most important features of the emergence and development of interest in it, including reporting and measurement stages.

The study also aimed to know the types of these returns at multiple levels : consumer, investment, non-monetary, economic, social, individual, community, near, and far.

The study embarked on measuring the returns of education by taking the difficulties of this measurement, then the most of its important theories which are represented by : conjugation method, residual method, cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness, educational production function, and others.
