Abstract EN

The research aimed to verify the psychometric properties of the one track mindedness scale for University Student by calculating the internal consistency, stability and validity parameters of the one track mindedness scale.

The study sample consisted of (386) students from the Faculty of Education, Fayoum University (58 males and 328 females), the study sample included the four academic years for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Their ages ranged from (18-24) years (mean: 20.27; SD: 1.21).

The sample was randomly selected.

The researcher conducted the statistical analysis for the data of the application of one track mindedness scale on the sample of the study.

The results of the study revealed that one track mindedness scale has high reliability and validity coefficients.

Thus, the psychometric characteristics of the scale (validity and reliability), were confirmed.

That confirms its efficiency in measuring one track mindedness for university students and confidence in the results of using it.
