Abstract EN

The current research aims to study the administrative behavior of middle school principals and principals in light of theory X, Y, as the research sample consisted of (60) managers and managers who were randomly selected from the Education Directorate (Rusafa 2) of the city of Baghdad.

The researcher adopted the scale (Musleh, 2010), which consists of (42) items corresponding to (2) alternatives represented by (true Y, false X) and after applying the scale to the research sample, the standard properties of the tool represented in the apparent validity and construct validity were verified and verified.

Stability by re-testing.

The results showed the following: Managers and managers differ in their managerial behavior according to the theories (X) and (Y), as most managers agree with their managerial behavior in theory (Y) and the other part is consistent with the theory of (X).

However, the managerial behavior of managers and directors in the field of material and moral incentives agrees with Assumptions of the theory (X).
