Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the relationship between electronic games addiction among primary school students and its relationship to mentally vigilant parenting from the parents' point of view.

Electronic games have adopted and translated the mentally alert parenting scale developed for (McCaffrey, 2016).

The psychometric properties of the two scales were extracted, and the data was statistically processed using the t-test for one sample and two independent samples and the Pearson correlation coefficient.

The results showed that there is addiction to electronic games among primary school students from the point of view of parents, and there are no differences according to the gender variable (fathers and mothers).
