The current research aims to identify the modern teaching strategies of middle school teachers, the level of their personality traits, and the relationship between modern teaching strategies and personality traits, The research sample consisted of (100) teachers from Abdul Rahman Al-Ghafiqi Preparatory School for Boys, Al-Raya Preparatory School for Boys, Al-Nile Preparatory School for Boys on the left side of the city of Mosul, and the Central Preparatory School for Boys The Eastern Preparatory School for Boys and the Western Preparatory School for Boys on the right side of the city of Mosul.

To achieve the research objectives, the researchers prepared a questionnaire of the type (closed - open), where a number of Modern teaching strategies with an explanation of their steps, and the researchers left the questionnaire open to teachers in case any other strategy was added.

The researchers adopted the sixteen personality factors scale Raymond Cattell, who Arabized and adapted it to the Arab environment, Muhammad Al-Sayyid Abdul-Rahman and Saleh Abdullah Abu Ubadah 1998, where six factors were selected that are related to the current research, namely: (Affinity, intelligence, control, impulsivity, self-sufficiency, self-regulation) and each factor includes six paragraphs, and each paragraph has three answer alternatives, and the mark of each paragraph is between (2,1,0) and its validity and stability have been verified.

After applying it to the research sample and analyzing the results statistically, the results revealed a high and positive correlation between modern teaching strategies and the personality traits scale, In light of the results and conclusions, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions, including: Emphasizing the importance of using modern teaching strategies in the teaching process, as they facilitate the process of transferring science and knowledge and ideas to the students and conduct a correlational study between the research variables and other variables such as (habits of mind, self-confidence, cognitive burden, attitude towards the subject).
