The research aims to clarify aspects of the scientific life of the Mamluk state in the field of medicine, by discussing medicine and its sciences, the most important doctors of the Mamluks, and the Bimaristans (hospitals), the most important diseases and methods of treatment.

The historical, descriptive, and analytical method in order to reach results, which are among the most important of the development of medicine in the Mamluk era, the development of the bimaristan system clearly during this period despite the multiplicity and diversity of diseases in that period.
