Language is a social phenomenon; It does not exist without the existence of the linguistic community; Language and thought are inseparable; This is because language is a tool and means of thinking.

As soon as a person thinks, words begin to gather in his mind, to turn into sounds and vocabulary by which he communicates with others, and this is the secret of the permanence and continuity of human life, given the awareness of the social reality of language.

The terminological field is one of the linguistic fields that cannot be studied away from the needs and requirements of the linguistic groups, so putting up terms, generating them, and then working on unifying them, subjecting them to standardization, spreading them, and disseminating them among people are all operations that take place in light of the consideration of the needs of the public, and what is happening in the community From changes, language policy is one of the fields of sociolinguistics, and an important aspect of it is the control of the terminological situation; Therefore, I thought that our research should be branded with (terminological politics) and its methodological approach in light of the data of (social terminology), by dividing it into two sections, preceded by a preface that defines social linguistics, As for the first topic; It came under the title: Terminological Politics, an Approach in Foundations and Perceptions, and the second topic, entitled: Terminological Politics, an Approach, and then a conclusion with the most important findings of the research.
