This research aims to identify the reality of financial inclusion in south Africa, and in order to achieve this goal ; the research will address the concept of financial inclusion and its dimensions, and its status in south Africa, in addition to the policies that were followed in south Africa to raise the degree of financial inclusion.

the goal of the research is achieved by testing the hypothesis that “South Africa has made a breakthrough in terms of financial inclusion.” the research relied on the descriptive analytical method ; to achieve the main purpose of the study, which describes the reality of financial inclusion in south Africa, by addressing its main indicators, and south Africa's measures to achieve financial inclusion.

the results of the research indicate the possibility of accepting the study’s hypothesis that “south Africa was able to achieve a breakthrough in terms of financial inclusion”; it is clear that there are a number of positive developments for indicators of financial inclusion in south Africa.
