The current research aims to investigate “the level of Arabic language's male and female teachers when rhetorically analyzing Al-Imam Al-Hassan's (peace be upon him) peace (Sulh) speech.
To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher distributed Al-Imam Al-Hassan's (peace be upon him) peace (Sulh) speech to an exploratory sample of (13) teachers to find out the time which is necessary to analyze the speech.
After finding out the time required to analyze the speech, the researcher submitted it to the basic sample of (30) teachers to analysis it.
For the purpose of correcting the test, the researcher prepared a criterion for correcting (Appendix 2) after presenting it to a group of experts and specialists (Appendix 1) to verify its validity and accordingly some items were modified and others were deleted.
With Cronbach's Alpha coefficient and the percentage, the researcher reached the results of the research according to the analysis of the speech of Al-Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him).
In light of the results, the researcher recommended the following: rhetoric has a clear importance in providing the Arabic language's teachers with technical skills and familiarizing them with the knowledge of the secrets of rhetoric and their ability to perceive the rhetorical methods in the text.
The researcher suggests conducting a similar study to this study on undergraduate students.
