The public services provided by the state are considered among the most important services that governments care about and seek to provide for citizens in quantity and quality without any delay, One of the Mo important services provided by governments is health services, so that the demand for them increases with the increase in the number of the population in the country with the different age groups, The research focuses on the effectiveness of health services sites in achieving full coverage of all residents of the areas located on the Karkh side / Baghdad and showing the areas that suffer from a lack of health services ,The problem that the research deals with is the great pressure on health services provided on the Karkh side as a result of the high population numbers in the city of Baghdad, as well as the fact that it contains areas with high economic movement and internal and external traffic, which led to a shortage in the number of health centers and state hospitals in the city ,The city and the research aims to know the effectiveness of the health services sites and the effectiveness of the sites to provide services to the population and to find a solution to the problem of pressure on services by choosing an appropriate distribution model ,As for the hypothesis of the study, there is a significant shortage in the distribution of health services according to the concentration of the population, and that there is a relationship between the proximity or distance of transportation routes from the health services provided in the region ,The research relied on the descriptive approach to express the size of the problem by relying on statistics issued by official departments and office work based on GIS software in locating health service centers, The importance of the research is to show the effectiveness of the spatial distribution of health services provided in the city, and the research concluded that there is a clear imbalance in the spatial distribution of health services on the Karkh side, The research recommends the necessity of distributing hospitals and health centers in proportion to the concentration of the population in each region according to the approved planning standards.
