Abstract EN

This study highlights the reasons and factors of giving power to the military in Sudan in 17 November 1958AD.its imprtance is in knowing the reasons which terminate the democratic rule Sudan to be replaced by the military dictatorship under general Ibrahim Aboud , the high commander of the Sudanese military.

the study aims to uncover the reasons of giving power to the army and it assumed that the partiality dispute terminate the democracy and set the military partality.

the study affirms these results : the partiality competition depends on the permanent constitution pro tected by the military.

the study recommends more studies which reinforce the democratic rule andits principles in Sudan.

it recommends also to end the border dispute with the African and Arab neighbors specifically with Egypt.

the study follows the analytical descriptive historical method.
