The Maqamat art is one of the authentic heritage arts rooted in Arabic literature.

It appeared in the late fourth century as a result of social and cultural conditions.

This art competed with the various other literary arts of rhetoric and message, but embraced and absorbed them all.

Because of its flexibility, it adds to this a variety of fine literature, artistic compositions and captivating images.

It was known by the name, Environment of Andalusia, and it was known for the first time on the way of those of them who traveled to the East in search of knowledge.
