This paper is a civilization study about Assyrian commercial center which had been established by Assyrian merchants in Asia Minor at the beginning of the second millennium BC., that was known by the name “Karum” the most important of those were the ancient cities Kanesh (Kultepe)and Khattusha (Bogazkoy), both are located today in Turkey.

these commercial center played significant and important role as an intermediary between Assyria and Asia Minor, in regard to commerce and the spreading of Iraq ancient civilization that consist of intellectual, literary, religious, and economical aspects, particularly, the spread of the Cuniform and Akkadian language.
