Abstract EN

The study sought to find out the relationship between thinking styles and its relationship to sports intolerance among a sample of students from Umm Al-Qura and Al-Baha universities.

The two standards of thinking styles prepared by Sternberg and Wagner 1992, the short version, Arabization of Al-Dardir and Al-Tayeb, 2004, and sports intolerance (prepared by the researcher) were applied to 178 students from both universities.

The results revealed that the most preferred thinking styles among the sample were hierarchical, legislative, executive, and the least internal, chaotic, and global, and that sports intolerance was of a low degree, and there were no differences in styles of thinking and sports intolerance depending on the university, specialization, and social status.

And living with the family, school stage, and age, and there is no relationship between thinking styles and sports intolerance except for the liberal, hierarchical, and inner style.
